Individualized Sessions

Why?

You need a guide through the dark; in the right, select circumstances, I may be able to help.

I work one-on-one with students on a selective, case by case basis.

The work involves:

1) deep listening to track the problem and the habits that support it;

2) the giving of custom-tailored tasks and assignments aimed at addressing the problem you aim to work through;

3) accountability via routine check-ins in service of your work and goal.

Circumstances where I have helped in the past and could help again:

  • You want to use a focused movement practice, which I deliver either remotely via movement tasks and assignments or in-person, to transform deep habits of your way of seeing/being.

  • You need an outside eye on a performance production, someone who gets the psychological heart of what you are doing and can push you to deeper emotional engagement with your work.

  • Your relationship patterns kinda suck/don’t feel like thy are all they could be; you are ready for change and need an experienced outside eye who can see your relationships like a grand theatrical act in need of a plot change and some tweaking to character work. I can provide programmes and practices to transform deep relational habits.

I brings to the work a disciplined approach, gleaned from a unique experience and skillset, including:

  • 14 years of experience teaching movement as a transformational practice, to a varied student base, from children to advanced dancers to beginners and points in between;

  • 20 years of intensive movement study, with a relentless aim towards mastery of gross and subtle actions;

  • 20 years of experience in rigorous performance art practice, with a focus on performance as a vehicle for personal and cultural transformation;

  • experience as a Security Professional with training in tactical communication and use of force through the National Use of Force framework;

  • a lifelong friend, companion, and trusted colleague to several wonderful beings, her friends, whose colleagueship and friendship improves her daily;

  • a holder of two law degrees (JD and LLM), with a focus on understanding the deep, theoretically complex roots of relationship conflict, personal and collective, and the challenges inherent in living in a world full of injustice that calls out to each of us for appropriate response;

  • 8 years of elite-level distance running, culminating in a 10km road race national title in 2003, setting a base for a disciplined, get it done at all costs, endurance-based approach to life, one that can bypass comfort for the sake of the bigger goal;

Contact to request an interview; initial 30 minute consultation free.

Thereafter, the normal rate is $125/hour, or $500 for 5 sessions.
